  1. Tried and tested campsite suggestions wanted in the White
Peak area of the Peak District with good toilets and
showers and within easy walking distance of village for
    food and drink.

    Thanks,

    MP

    Thanks,

Stayed years ago at Hope and Castleton. No idea if
they're still going. Also Edale but the Peak gets
    "darker" at that point!

    Very nice pub as well!

There's another one just outside Alstonefield which is also
good, though facilities are very basic.

  6. Came across this place :
    stevegwilcox.pwp.blueyonder.co.ukCampsign.htm

Whilst passing through Monyash. SK156 665 Can't comment on
the facilities though, as I hadn't time to look around . . .

Also try Ye Olde Royal Oak, Wetton, Staffs (about 2 miles
from Alstonefield). Nice pub, adjacent camping area,
    shower room.
