  1. They do go on in Blacks a bit don't they? The guy there tried to sell
me some Superfeet but being a stingy git I thought 30 squid was a lot.
After all the merrell trainers I bought had footbeds anyway.

As it happens I do seem to have a problem with my right foot and have
worn the heel excessively on the right. I only bought them in May and
the uppers are in good shape. Any ideas what I might do to get a bit
    more life out of them?

    And so you should.

    Wicked Piglet.

    Sensible answer coming up.....

You may be over-pronating or over-supinating. It's all described in
the leaflet in my Superfeet box (bought today).

If your legs and feet are not walking "straight" ie there's some bias
in one part of your leg/foot structure then you may roll the foot and
wear down a particular part of the footwear. IAMNAPodiatrist, but I
wear out my soles in a wierd way and have been told that orthotic
    insoles would help.

Or, try walking on your hands.

    Best wishes,

I'm tempted to take offense at you saying I have a twisted sense of
    humour.

    But as it's true, I won't.

Seriously, I'm sure orthotics can help. Consider the Superfeet
orthotics, either off the shelf or custom: people seem to be very
    happy with them (me included).

    Tres bon! :-)

OT (but I'm hiding it here).

Carols from Kings is just outstanding this year! The Coventry Carol,
the carol from "Merry Chrismas Mr Lawrence", the one I'm listening to
now but can't remember the name of.... it's just beautiful!

As was the Blue Peter Christmas special. I wish BP presenters had
looked like that when I was a kid!! Valerie Singleton & Leslie Judd
    they weren't.

(that's the tone back down to its normal level)
