Wal-nuts are high in omega 3 fats...hazel nuts are good that way, too.

    Which are worse then?

    Are peanuts to be avoided?

basically wanting to know what to buy at store. Mixed nuts? Or too
    many peanuts in that?

be careful with nuts....they are high in calorie and some of them have a lot
of carbs if you eat more than a few. it is best to serve them into measured
amounts rather than just going by handfuls at a time.

another issue with nuts is that a lot of them are high in omega 6 fats and
low in omega 3 fats. for good heart health, you want to try to get more
omega 3 fats in your diet, so walnuts and hazel nuts are good for that,
provided you don't eat too many.

macadamia nuts are good since they are high in fat & low in carbs (assuming
you're not worried about omega 3/ 6 fat ratios)

  8. That was unecessarily crude.

There aren't really any bad ones. I love cashews, but they're higher carb
than some others. Macadamias are lower carb as are almonds. I don't like
walnuts except in brownies, but they are good for you, too.

  12. They are all good but need to be eaten in moderation. Read the nutrition
labels to see what best fits your plan. I like almonds and macadamias best.

  13. Nuts that are not roasted or salted have more fiber content. Look for those.

  14. Somehow I'm doubting that was his intention given the quotation marks.

  15. I believe Almonds are best nut for the nutrients and fast, carbs, total

Ig, there are a few folks who can make crude jokes and pull them off.
You aren't one of them. It just comes across as being the usenet
version of the creep at the mall who waits until you're looking his
direction then exposes himself. Kind of icky.

    Take care,

I love toasted almonds in my salad.

Perhaps....but in that case more than "eaten" should have been in quotation
    marks.

Whichever ones you can eat without eating the whole damn can. I haven't
found any in that category yet. I do know that peanuts aren't really nuts
and cashews are kind of high in carbs.

I'll stick to flax oil for my O3s.
