I've just got back from Gid and Suzi's new year 'do'. We didn't stay
for the evening's entertainment because we have young children and the
'do' is adults only. I'm sure everyone there (about 30 people) would
join me in wishing walking afpers and anyone else who understands this
post a very happy new year if they knew I were posting this.

Gideon Hallett (sp?). He won't remember me, but I remember him. I'm
pretty sure he was the first-ever person to reply to my first-ever post
to Usenet, which was to afp.

conversation this afternoon at the Holyoakes' place that I'd forgotten.

I've a pile of TPs books that number two son bought me a christmas or
two ago, but I'm in a rented house ATM so they are all packed away 🙁

I don't think so. I remember ppint, and Megamole, and Lady Kayla (I met
her a couple of years ago - she's lovely); also Tamar from the US - but
then she's also a regular on another NG I frequent, so I 'see' her quite
a bit. I may even re-lurk a bit. Aaah, the nostalgia...
