  1. Just from your experience.

Is it worth it to take whey isolate? From the articles I read, it seems
that Whey isolate, or a mixture whey isolate + concentrate are the best for
pre/post workout. But maybe it is all marketing.

I think it is good to eat whey concentrate (or pure why that I found) for
meals away from work outs, and maybe whey isolate pre/post work outs.

    What do you think?

I take both whey isolate and whey concentrate post workout. Why?
Because that's what the MAN told me to do. Honestly I think it's
splitting hairs. Actually I read that it's better to take a "fast"
protein like whey PRE-workout and a "slow" protein like casein
POST-workout. This is according to Brian Haycock of HST, if you believe
him. I'm going to continue taking my whey post-w. I take Designer Whey.
It's cheap, the vanilla praline tastes good, and it has all sorts of
    whey this and whey that.

Use the whey isolate/concentrate mix. The marginal difference between
a mix and pure isolate is nil for the purpose of muscle protein
synthesis. Also, pure concentrate tends to make you fart, while pure
    isolate tastes like ass.

  4. What if I take only Whey Concentrate? I ask this because I found a very
cheap source of Whey (maybe it is not even concentrate).

It's still a good source of quickly absorbed protein, but did you see
the bit about whey farts? Whey concentrate will do that.
