Whats the difference between the two? Say USN's whey protein vs pure
protein.
I want to get leaner and lose body fat. Which protein supplement is best for
this?

The one which causes you to eat less and/or exercise more.
Because that's how you get leaner and lose body fat.

Who doesn't?

In my limited experience, it doesn't matter much. Most important is to
exercise regularly and a lot, and if a protein supplement works for you,
just find one you like and can afford. My current fav' is Met-Rx's
"mega 100" or something like that - it's a bar. They taste good enough
that I look forward to having one every day now.

An MRP that tastes good?!
Hmm.
Currently I'm eating pan-roasted turkey breast and gorgonzola dolce on whole
wheat with tabasco honey mustard; what's the bar like?

Maybe it has a decent amount of fat or calories or sugar or something -
I haven't really looked, but I find them very pleasant, particularly
with a cup of coffee at four in the afternoon. But it's really just
personal preference - who knows if you'd like it? OTOH, what you're
eating now sounds very good.
EAT LESS and EXERCISE MORE?
I don't agree with that. They way I see it you eat the same amout (but eat
different) and exercise the same amount. Otherwise you lose muscle mass.

It's good you asked the original question but, now that you did, listen
to David and the rest of us, please. For most people most of the time,
adding muscle involves also adding some fat, and losing fat involves
also losing some muscle. Exercise during both helps tip the balance in
muscle's favor.

As does switching out calories, proteins vs. carbs and fat.

Thanks for the feedback.
Please comment on this: I thought that during the cutting phase (losing
weight) you eat more protein and less carbs and fat because protein does not
make you fat.
Also, which foods should I stick to then? And by how much should I decrease
my food intake? I read that you must eat a lot of small meals during the day
to keep your metabolism running to burn fat, true?
