She's not on holiday, nor does she have PC probs - she posted to
    rec.pets.cats.anecdotes on 8, 12 + 19 JUN 04 plus other groups. Her last
post here seems to be 31 MAY 04. Nobody's been upsetting her by calling her
    a git have they? ;-)

At 16:41 GMT today she was enjoying a thunderstorm in mid-Norfolk, as
    she posted in uk.sci.weather.

Must have been something we said....

Just having a wee break. Thanks for noticing my absence - must be quiet round
    here then? ;-)

Not on holiday - instead got rampant hayfever which is leaving me wheezing like
    a 60-a-day ciggie-addict and as a result, I'm on an inhaler. It's getting a bit
better though. Enough that when I saw the nice Mr Whelan and his good lady
today, Pete let me have a play on his Trice, which was great fun and much
appreciated. Nathan had a play on the Trice too and now he wants one. The
offspring can wait his turn - mother gets one before him, although the large
and blatent dropping of less than subtle hints to Vernon is not working. Bah!

    Cheers, helen s

Hayfever can be very annoying, thankfully a Piriton seems to sort me out.

Will you be visiting the York Rally ?

I'm on antihistamines & an inhaler. The older I get the more sensitive I become
    it seems. Bah! ;-)

Not going to York Rally, but as long as the Unfit Family is in the UK at the
time of the MIldenhall Rally, we shall be there. Mildenhall & back from Chateau
Simmons is a decent day ride of 70-80 miles dependent upon which route is
taken. Vernon is muttering vaguely about spending a week cycling in France and
I'm not going to deter him from a positive decision on that. But, being
self-employed, actual booking of holidays is a last-minute thing, so nothing
definite yet, but I do fancy a tour of some nice wine region.

    Cheers, helen s

This year, some of the more recent hayfever medicines are available quite
cheaply without prescription as generics. I found that Cetirizine is now
available over-the-counter at a pharmacy for a lot less than the price of a
NHS doctor's prescription (unless you qualify for free prescriptions).

Lots of hugs and clear nasal wishes from all of us.
Hope you're back on the bike soon , without the smog mask.
