  1. 'twas a good stage today.

  2. Nice to see McEwen beaten finally. Vaitkus, haven't seen him before but he's looking pretty strong in the sprints.

  3. doh!! looks like Bettini misjudged it threw his bike too early and Vaitkus timed it just right... looks like he's ahead at 1/2 metre to go.

Nice win for Vaitkus, great new talent! Robbie was probebly to tired as he had to come back from the second group after the bunch was split.

God isn't Betini desperate. Throwing his arms up like that when he knew well he didnt win.

I just get the feeling that he has lost his edge. Thats about the third stage he should have won now if he had timed it better. Perhaps he's had his best days.

He's apparantly leaving QS to sign for TM because he's not getting so many chances at QS. And what makes him think that at TM he's going to win more? He already has Lampre and Milram working for him as lead out teams in the Giro and he's still not able to win

  6. Gilbert's the new Bettini. Can sprint/climb/ride the cobbles just as well as him, and well he's been on talking terms with him quite a lot. Who knows, Quick Step might even poach him in the future for the Ardennes classics 😎

He wasn't beaten, he slowed under team orders. Or was that hay fever? 😄
