Maybe he heard rumours that an angel was planning on dry humping him, so
    he's keeping a low profile?

    I saw spiderman last night.

now that you mention it Tam, I haven't seen any angels there either. maybe there's a beer shortage in France this year:-0

he was out and about for some of the spring classics. He usually 'comes out to play' in the mountain stages so no doubt we will see him over the next few days

AFAIK he's usually at the roadside during the stages in the Alps.
So expect to see him on the next three stages.

PS: That devil chased me once during the 'Race for everyone' in Hamburg,
    Germany... spooky.

that explains the guy wearing nothing but big red curly hair and the red undies. Perhaps it was the devil post dry-humping?? And even spidey couldn't save him from angel lust.

No. Obviously I wasn't interesting enough, because he could keep my
with. That may be the reason I thought it was spooky 😉.

he ( or one of his alter-kind) popped up with his fork on the trip to Germany, probably wanted to melt Gabriel's Gateaux....🙄

Another theory, the costume Didi Senft wears gets *very* whiffy. Maybe he's not allowed with 10km of the TdF route without personal deodorant? 😄

Just under the ten km banner, also noticed a few tridents had been
painted onto the road surface at that spot.
