jon is doing ok -- i talked with him about a month ago. he's taking a breather from this group and
concentrating on astronomy and apparently birds (a dual use telescope!). he did relate that he is
still biking, so no need to worry about that. he also related that if anyone wanted to contact him
they could do so at ..

I was talking to a friend the other day who no longer reads this group. He said that after
participating for a few years he began to realize that we just keep discussing the same subjects
over and over again. Perhaps Jon feels the same way.

BTW, I've been here since the days of rec.bicycles (full stop). I sometimes wonder what I'm still
doing here. :-)
