Since Dr. Weisenthal dropped out, it ain't been the same. I recommend
searching all his posts, and also look at Mark Miller's stuff. I'm
going to be very bold and say that swimming is a bit of a "solved
problem" as far as I'm concerned, at least freestyle, due in large part
to the contributions of people on this user group. Using the "tools"
provided by the "coursework" on these pages, it's pretty easy to look
at any elite swimmer and pick apart the basics of why they are
successful. There are of course different ways that elites swim, but a
very finite number of them. But of course often not easy to emulate
them. Most posts of a technical nature on the group no longer generate
feedback.

Ian, I have to say that I think you answered your own question--that is
the main reason things are not as active. I think Larry drops in from

Didn't he post a month or two ago he's really busy with his 'real job'. I
remember reading the article he linked, something abut being involved a new
cancer treatment coming out, if I remember correctly. Don't remember much in
a way of details.

compare you to a breed of dog. I think it has something to do with
