Not that I am desiring him to die, we are all mortal. But when he does assume room temperature, will they allow him to be buried in his birthland?
Think carefully, this is a trick question.

i think it is pretty rude of you to give me a homework assignment the first time i login to this forum🙂
Arafat was born in Cairo. i dont think the egyptians like him very much, so they probably wont let him be buried there.

We have a WINNER!!! Yes, all indications are he will not get the return trip home for planting.
Welcome, Velogal. Great job!
who are you, one of my profs?🙂 you bring up this subject and i cant stop looking into it.
according to forbes arafat's personal wealth is at least $300m. israeli intellegence estimates it at $1.3Billion. how does the 'leader' of a 'poor, discplaced' people like the palistinians amass such wealth???
The International Monetary Fund conducted an audit of the Palestinian Authority which stated that Arafat diverted $900 million in public funds to a special bank account he controlled. Other estimates range between $1 Billion and $3 Billion. Arafat's wife, Suha, is estimated to receive a stipend of $100,000 each month. According to Forbes, the new PA Finance Minister, Salam Fayyad appointed June 2002, is tasked with cleaning up PA finances, cutting off much of Arafat's cash flow. In October 2003, French government prosecutors opened an money-laundering probe of Suha Arafat after Tracfin alerted the prosecutors to transfers of nearly $1.27 million each with some regularity from Switzerland to Mrs. Arafat's accounts in Paris. The probe was made public February 11, 2004.

Come on now, you are sitting in the front row, answering all the questions and not letting the little stoners in the back row answer anything 😉 Besides, you know some of that is money from the deals Palestinian businessmen made on concrete sales to Israel...
No, I don't listen to Rush. He is too much of a "gateway" talk radio host. I "mainline" on Savage but only in moderation. "Tequila sunrises" with Laura Ingraham.
dude, i'm a surfer girl turning into a ski bunny/velo babe and a blonde too. if i start looking smart it will ruin a lot of stereotypes.

I know many smart surfers so I'll keep it a secret. I'm also a "surfer" of sorts, wind powered SHORT BOARDS ONLLY. If it isn't whitecapping, I am not on the water. Makes a great complimentary sport to cycling.

Well done Velogal for winning the competition. The mean [censored] never even gave you a prize. I've come up with a more difficult Q, and I think Shylock White Feather should stump up the shekels. When YA passes on from this world, who will be the first pro Israeli statesman, in any country to say what a wonderful man he was and how he contributed to the Palestinian cause for the greater good. WL. don't you mean cement provided by the US? Concrete is different, that's what has set in your head.

gotta love that ignore option. i'm on this board one day and get to add two rude drunken jew hating irish guys to my ignore list. seems they've got some sexual tension between them. yuk.
i did some wind surfing before - but really loved kite surfing. major hang time and an awesome workout. just picked up cycling but i'm totally hooked.

Yes, I do LOVE that ignore function! Funny how you too seem to think there are just a few drunk Irishmen lurking about. Not the first time I have had problems with 'em and not only in this forum.
Poor Yassir had to go to Paris to get medical care, probably from Jewish doctors too 😉
BTW, how far away from Mt. Evans are you? Its far too late to do that climb but next year when it opens, I will give it a try.
I am certainly less charitable to Arafat than you. I desire his slow painful death in a french hospital and hope it is given to the Israeli people as a gift for Chanukah.
As for burying him, cremate him and shove his ashes up Chirac's ass.
I'm sure that's too harsh for the terr loving eurodweebs and kerry supporters. Too bad.

Didn't Princess Diana have "great service" in a Paris hospital?

Shabat Shalom WS. Well it is here. I think you've got hold of the wrong end of the naknik. I am not anti semitic, and have never been considered so by any of my Jewish customers over the last 30 years, we have had hours of fun knocking each other about in a humourous mood. That's what being grown up is all about. I lived in Israel and the West Bank for some time, and see points of view, and not from a blinkered perpective. I live in England, not Ireland. Now go and give VG a rub on her ego. I'm sure she metioned giving it out and taking it. Obviously it was just a theoretical thing.

Sorry to break up the lovefest here, Yentl - as you indicate I am Irish.
It was you who volunteered that your auld lads mates leered at you when they called to visit, err, your father.
You take offence to readily.
As regards Shylock - he seems to be keen on you.

Ya hoss'as got bad breath mister. Why didn't you join the Israeli army and run your American tanks over already dead Arabs. Stop and put their heads in food tins, seal them, and take them home to show your mates. I saw a lot of that type of conduct. Disgusting.

Fred - concrete indeed.
Except concrete has it uses.
I don't know - he creates a thread to try to garner some sort of anti-Palestinian reaction and then loudly blows when someone has a crack at the 4 x 2's !
Always the same with his kind - they try to dish it and when they get some back, we get the tired rendition of "vhy, you attack us ?".
Double standards - nothing new there.

Now who's had trouble with us upeons. Two against 350M. MCM getting better, and Geoff is delighted with Etape. Mourenc- Pau. I rode a race down there once Pau- Jaca and a few other bits. It's only 70m of climbing. Geoff will setting out the stall right now. To old for the craic now but I would like a chimney corner with Cyrille Guimard, he helped me a lot, and changed the management of Pro teams into its present form.
