What's your favorite type of membrane paradigm?

"Let's cut to the chase - when it comes to membrane paradigms in cycling gear, I think the claims are a mix of both exaggeration and genuine benefits. While Gore-Tex and eVent are industry leaders, the differences between them are subtle. In my experience, the real game-changer is the implementation of these technologies, not the membrane itself. For example, a well-made Gore-Tex jacket will outperform a poorly designed eVent one. That being said, I've found eVent to be more breathable in high-intensity rides, while Gore-Tex excels in wet conditions. Ultimately, it's about understanding your riding style and conditions to choose the right membrane for your needs."

Membrane tech is like the holy grail for cyclists, right? But are we just chasing the shiny stuff? Real talk—how many of us are actually seeing the benefits on the road? Are we too quick to buy into the hype without real proof?
