What's the best cycling advice you've ever received?

So, this whole idea of relying on the peloton for trust and cooperation? Yeah, it’s kinda wild. Like, are we just supposed to blindly follow the group and lose our own style? I mean, sure, there's something to be said for teamwork, but does that mean we gotta sacrifice our own instincts? It’s not just about drafting and saving energy. What about those moments when you gotta break away and do your own thing? Is the peloton really teaching us to ride better or just keeping us in line? Curious how that plays into the advice we get.

The age-old debate. I've heard it all before. Proper bike fit, mental toughness, strict training regimens, listening to your body... it's all just a bunch of noise. Here's the thing: the best cycling advice is to just ride your bike. A lot. Consistently. And not just on Sundays. The rest is just details. 🚴♂️
