  1. I love wraps, and want to follow the SBD pretty strictly. So what
materials are available to me to wrap a wrap with? What kind of
    vegetable leaves work well, etc?

    Lettuce? Blanched cabbage?

  3. The Thais and Chinese often use big lettuce leaves to make wraps.

    Use whichever lettuce you like.

  4. Greetings!
I don't know SBD very well, so take these suggestions as they fit...
Romaine lettuce works quite well. Thinly sliced cucumber (peeled the broad
way 'round?) might also work for a cold wrap. For hot stuff: Steamed
cabbage (regular or napa or...) leaves might work, or thinly sliced eggplant
or zucchini. You might be able to use the large japanese/chinese radishes.
The good old standby crepes made only of egg(s) is also good. (These can be
made ahead of time, interleaved with wax paper and frozen)

  5. A few years ago we had a nice girl in here named Violet. She was a
ovo/lacto vegan and made these cool egg crepes and used them like
tortillas. You might be able to Google "Violet Mourning crepes" and she
might have posted the recipe. I'll try right now AAMOF

Why is Violet in mourning? Did someone die from eating her crepes?

  9. If you want to go exotic, you can try Grape leaves (available in jars) or
Lotus leaves. On the latter, not sure where you would get them other than a
    specialty store like Uwajimya...

  10. There are quite a few tortilla style LC wraps in various flavors being
sold too. The small ones have about 5 net carbs. All the ones I've
tried have been very good to excellent.

  12. Grape leaves are not that strong and aren't that great straight fromt he
jar. Now, if you rinse them, wrap something and give it a quick fry in some
oliveoil you may have something good. I do that with just feta cheese and
have some olives on the side. Of course I am off those for awhile but they
    are very good.
