It seems he signed with them August 2nd, because that was the date of the
official update to Acqua & Sapone's roster.

His one-year suspension for tripping the UCI Dope-O-Meter at the 2003 Giro
was up last month. Wonder how he and the wife are getting along?

The test of a strong marriage is seldom accomplished in placid waters, no ?
Or do you just have a mean desire to see them at odds ? Petty.

Hey, I don't know about you, Sandy, but as for me, if I get busted
smuggling dope for my wife and she lets me rot in the hoosegow for 68
days, we are definitely having words once I get out. Many, many of them.
Happily, neither of us has ever tested positive. . . .

I don't think that he will be racing in France anytime soon.

Well, Mr Mad Dog -
It was just venal of you to ask the question. Perhaps it's not my role to
tell your investigative-reporter-self that ; sorry. Maybe was it just your
smart-assed way of getting people to pay attention to you ?
As Tom Patterson often asks : "Did you meet them? Did they confess ?"
68 days of solidarity doesn't come from nothing.

I don't think that you have to confess when go get caught with a cooler full

knew that everyone assumed that he was juiced and would be testing him every
time possible. He was stupid or believed that his protocol could not be
detected.

Gee, whiz ! You really missed the point - it was NOT about drugs, but about
their couple.
No doubt you are right about what you mentioned. And you also believe that
no one else could have been implicated, had she chosen to speak ? Little
mercies.

I am sorry. When I read the line about confession, I assumed that you were
talking about doping. If I remember correctly, she tried to rat out her
mother!

You are mixing up teams. It's Amore & Vita - the Vatican blessed team - the
one which offered Millar and Manzano a ride.

After the Frog drug police took all my medicines away, it took months for my
darling daughter and her sweet husband to resupply me with what I crave, I
mean medically need. I'm feeling much better now. My training for the
Lithuanian Senior Games is right on schedule. I hope to break 7 min. for the
1500 Meter Run.

Jeez, I should be. I mean, hell, look at how badly I draw. It's a dead
giveaway. You can almost see the fat spliff drooping from the corner of my
mouth, toxic smoke curling toward the ceiling, as with my pot I call the
sport's kettles black.

Bonne route,
I think that Patrick was striking a joke about how Rumsas wife appeared to
be his dope supplier. The joke is that if he isn't using any more then she
would be out a source of income.....
Patrick has a funny sense of humor as you can tell by his cartoons in
VeloNews. But come to think of it, since you French liked Jerry Lewis you
two might have similar ideas of humor.....
