(re-post for lazy liars)
Immunity and Cancer When normal cells turn into cancer
cells, some of the antigens on their surface change.
These new or altered antigens flag immune defenders,
including cytotoxic T cells, natural killer cells, and
macrophages. According to one theory, patrolling cells of
the immune system provide continuing bodywide surveillance,
spying out and eliminating cells that undergo malignant
transformation. Tumors develop when the surveillance system
breaks down or is overwhelmed.

Recently, it was discovered that Mfs help regulate
infections and tumors through the production of interleukin
(IL)-12, a vital communication molecule between Mfs and
other immune cells. What if Mfs don't produce enough IL-12?
Elgert's research has demonstrated that Mfs in animals with
tumors make less IL-12.
In addition, the researchers have discovered that the impact
is not just limited to the tumor, but the immune system
throughout the body is compromised, Elgert says.
Cancer is a compromised immune system (Elgert)
David you are wrong about 2 things
(1) Cancer rates are on the increase (at an alarming rate
amoungst the younger population also)
(2) Cancer is the result of a weaked immune system.

As the BBC web story pointed out, yes, pediatric cancer
rates have been rising very slowly.
You then assert that this is due to "weakened immune
systems." In fact, nobody knows what's causing it.

You're still putting the cart before the horse, Anth.
You haven't shown that cancers are generally rising and
you haven't shown that any rise in cancers is due to
the "weakened immune systems" of the people getting the
cancers. You're basically assuming your conclusion and
then claiming you've proved something.
And since you didn't quote any material relating to
intelligent design, I'm going to ignore you on that
point.
