If you're so interested in Lance, maybe you'll read some of his statements - he isn't RETIRED from competitive cycling, he's just not riding any more Grand Tours. He'll be in the ToC next year, IIRC. He's going to run compete in triathlons and probably just "be Lance Armstrong," which is a pretty cool job description, unless this current investigation sticks.

  3. this Reviewing the Ever-Widening Investigation of Lance Armstrong -- The Sports Section article skims the surface of what's next with only a few sentences of him possibly mountain bike racing and doing the triathlons but then mainly focuses on the investigation.

originally, before Landis came out, Lance was directly headed into The Ironman, IM France and a few half iron distances and then Kona World Championship 2011 but who really knows any longer.

  4. He's joining "The View."

  5. TOC that's the race with no corners isn't it.

    Triathlons in his spare time.

But most time spent defending the ever growing legion of past acquaintances looking to put the boot in. Well he'll be a busy boy.

I am sure he will have the opportunity to travel the world on the live strong bandwagon doing good and increasing his chances of election to governor of Texas if he so wished.

    In your wildest dreams.

And even if he does end up in prison, he still remains not just the best cyclist ever to come from America, but arguably the greatest of all time.

You could argue for LeMond, but he doped too, won less Tours & never won a classic.

  14. yup, he is sure to be the best cyclist

  15. A retirement community? He could coach the Geritol team at the Buckner Villas Retirement Community right there in Austin; and they take medicare!

Funny, I couldn't find any web sites stating, not alone proving, that Lemond doped, maybe you would like to share a site or two for our entertainment pleasure?

But I'm not disputing that Lemond is a dope.

  17. try searching for his B12/iron shots that miraculously worked overnight.

What a load of BS, just as with all the other rumormongering: all spray, no substance, critical thought avoided at all costs.

  20. Hey GT, i think we're about to see a catfight! 😄
