If he's talking about a "race" with a winner above 70 mph on level ground, only event would fitting the bill would be at Battle Mountain.

sounds like total bs, recumbent dealer cant remember the name of a bike? that goes over 50 mph with
plentys of sponge bobs riding it at a bike show.. not a very bright dealer...

Oh, he's not a recumbent dealer. We don't have too many of those around. The closest is at
Richardson Bike Mart and that's 55 miles away from where I
live. He is enthusiastic about that new Giant bike, though.

If it was a "race" at a "show", those speeds would be easily reached on rollers- but that's not a
race, that's a spinning contest. Aerodynamic drag is zero on rollers.

Less than 2 miles away on 75 is Plano Cycle & Fitness which also carries recumbents although the
selection isn't huge like Richardson
