Wyeth Selected for Seventh Year As One Of Working Mother Magazine's
"100 Best Companies For Working Mothers"

Madison, NJ, September 21, 2004 – Wyeth (NYSE: WYE) announced today
that it has been selected as one of Working Mother magazine's "100
Best Companies for Working Mothers" for the seventh consecutive year.
Applications are scored on more than 500 points of information,
including the number of work/life programs offered, the employee usage
of such programs and the representation of women throughout the
company. This year, Working Mother gave particular weight to three
issues: flexible scheduling, time off for new parents and child-care
    options.

Robert Essner, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of
Wyeth, stated, "We are delighted to be selected for Working Mother
magazine's 100 Best Companies for the seventh consecutive year. Wyeth
is committed to offering family-friendly programs, as well as
providing a workplace environment that supports the management of both
    personal and work responsibilities."

Wyeth provides a wide array of benefits to meet a variety of employee
needs, including the special needs of working mothers. Wyeth offers a
unique dependent care subsidy as a matching contribution to an
employee's Dependent Care Spending Account. This benefit provides
financial support to meet the dependent care needs of Wyeth's
employees and their families. In addition, Wyeth offers adoption
assistance benefits, Paternity Leave and a LifeManagement Program
designed to help resolve a broad range of personal and dependent care
issues including elder care. Wyeth also provides on-site child care
facilities in two of its locations and national childcare discounts, a
tuition reimbursement program, many training and development
opportunities, as well as a Lactation Program for mothers returning to
work following the birth of a baby. To help meet the demands of
working mothers' schedules, Wyeth employees have an opportunity to
choose their work schedules to give them greater flexibility. Some
employees may have the opportunity to work from home occasionally or
on a regular schedule. Nearly half of Wyeth employees are women and
increasing numbers of women are fulfilling leadership roles in the
    Company.

Artemis Pappas, a Wyeth manager, is a working mother of triplets and
works a compressed work schedule. Artemis joined Wyeth two years ago
and says, "It was the benefits and work/life programs that attracted
me to Wyeth. My compressed schedule provides the opportunity to spend
more quality time with my children."

Wyeth is one of the world's largest research-driven pharmaceutical and
health care products companies. It is a leader in the discovery,
development, manufacturing, and marketing of pharmaceuticals,
vaccines, biotechnology products and non-prescription medicines that
improve the quality of life for people worldwide. The Company's major
divisions include Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Wyeth Consumer Healthcare and
    Fort Dodge Animal Health.

Look, folks, and not particularly directed to the author of the post to which
Davey is replying here, it might be time to quit this ``who is [censored].[censored].[censored].[censored]''
and what is ``Joe.Josey bloggs' IP and who is his/her ISP?'' nonesense.

Firstly it is childish and secondly and more importantly, cyber stalking which
includes stalking IPs, ISPs, email addresses and computers, is actualy a crime
in an increasingly large number of jurisdictions these days.

And this is the company Joey works for. It has nothing to do with
bike racing. So let it be.

  5. Yeah, I used to work there, too. What's that got to do with anything?

Maybe someday if you had the balls to use your real name or to go get
a real job (GASP!), people could inappropriately comment on your
    relationship with your employer.
