  1. What is for breakfast. I don't mean what did you have last weekend.
I mean what do you have every day.

In the last year I have done the following:
    2 vending machine food
    2 months of hot pockets
4 months of jimmy dean sandwitches
3 months of raisn bread with either pb&j or pb&banana or just banana.
and now I am doing bagles and humus.

I am always thinking of things I can fix and stuff into my lunch bag
and eat once I get to work.

What are you guys eating day in and day out?

This is totally no help to you, but since you asked-
whatever's handy, could be PB crackers, leftover pork chop, bologna
    sandwich. Pretty bad, huh?LOL

During the work week I usually take a bagel or English muffin. I keep
butter, jam, and cream cheese in a mini-fridge at work. I also take a
container of cubed melon or orange or grapefruit sections. One a month or
so, I manage to leave home early enough to stop for a "real" breakfast.

No, actually sounds interesting! I love PB crackers. If I had leftover
meat from dinner (I rarely do), that would be a treat. I don't eat bologna
at any time of the day. :-)

some combination (any 2 of) of yogurt (fruit-on-the-bottom), hard-boiled
    eggs, orange/grapefruit, granola/cereal bar.

And juice (usually a cranberry blend, sometimes grapefruit (if I don't have
    the actual fruit).

That list shows you enjoy monotony. 4 _months_ (five days a week?) of
Jimmy Dean sandwiches? _2_ months of hot pockets? (Although you can get
a little better variety there with nine different flavors.)

Are you looking for quick-and-easy or cheap-and-dirty? You've already
    done the "dirty."

    Quoted message said:

What are you guys eating day in and day out?

Variety of fruits and vegetables: celery sticks, carrot sticks,
apple/pear/orange slices, melon cubes, grapes, toast, danish, donuts,
meat and cheese slices, apple sauce, yogurts, Gogurts, smoothies, milk
shakes, power bars, granola bars, cereal... I try and vary it daily so
that I don't end of eating the same thing every day. I've also got those
Jimmy Dean sandwiches. If I ate one every day for three months, I'd
balloon up. A treat once a week seems to work out nicely.

Day in and day out for breakfast I have wheat flakes, banana, and skim
milk. Lunch and dinner vary, but breakfast is usually the same.

(Except this week because I ran out of cereal)

  9. On the weekdays I usually eat a granola bar, but once a week I splurge
and stop at Burger King for a Croissanwich on the way to work. On the
weekends I usually have a can of corned beef hash with three eggs over
easy on top if I eat breakfast at all.

Orange juice mixed with water. In cold weather, the water is hot from
the kettle. In warm weather, the water is straight from the tap. The
orange juice is the pasteurized stuff from the carton. (I can't stand
strong flavors first thing in the morning. The water tames the sweet
and [censored] of the juice. Besides, I wake up dry but don't like plain water.)

Toast. That's toast with butter and jam or toast with butter and melted
cheese. When I'm feeling wild and crazy, that's toast with almond
    butter.

If, for some strange reason, I need a real breakfast because I won't
have the chance to eat again mid-morning, add an apple to that. I hate
having to eat first thing in the morning.

  11. Try Pumpkin Butter, Sunflower Butter or Cashew Butter for a change of
pace with your toast, bagel or crackers. I really like pumpkin butter
    on rye toast.

Thanks Wayne, I feel better now-I'm kind of weird about breakfast food, I
love it but not in the morning. Even the smell makes me unhappy in the
morning. PB crackers and a diet Coke is the breffus of champions, IMO. I
don't often have leftover meat either, so when I do, like you say-it's a
treat. Bologna, on the other hand, is usually what I grab when I waited too
long to eat. It's very quick to make and eat, and gets something into me.
I have hypoglycemia, so sometimes you take whatever's fast! Tomorrow's
breakfast will be leftover pasta in a Parm/cream sauce, YUM!

  14. For this aussie, please describe a jimmy dean sandwich.
For breakfast in this household - one couple:

weetbix, milk, topped with cubed fresh fruit - pawpaw, pineapple or
    melon.
Sometimes a slice of toast and jam or honey.
    or....
cubed fresh fruit topped with plain yogurt and nuts.
    or....
one egg scrambled or poached on a slice of wholemeal toast. Fruit
    first.

A walk along the beach first, breakfast, coffee or tea and one faces
    the day with enthusiasm!

No snacks usually until lunchtime which is a fresh salad or a ham and
salad roll. Fillings can vary - tuna etc., egg. Followed by a piece of
fruit - apple or mandarin, seasonal.

No, we're not pencil thin, but not overweight. Nutrious dinner at
    night.

Same is true for mortadella, the original bologna from Bologna. Yet,
somehow, comparison to Velveeta is not quite right...

Also, Velveeta is not the same as what is called American cheese.
    Velveeta is "processed cheese food."

The cheese slices sold in the supermarket are either processed cheese
(which includes American cheese). The single wrapped slices are often
    processed cheese food.
