With my new purchase I am no longer in need of my old bike. A good friend really wants to buy it, I threw out $500 off the top of my head and he quickly agreed. But, as this guy is a good friend I don't want to rip him off. Negative opinions of GTs held by respected residents of AM-B notwithstanding, what do you think would be a fair price?

Frame has expected number of dings for being five years old, no major crashes. Components have been very well maintained. The bike rides just as well as the day I bought it. I bought it new for $2,100.00

Considering eBay completed auctions, there were two (one just a frame with some bits like a FSA headset and another full bike almost identical to yours. The frame sold for $180, the full bike got as high as $350 but didn't meet the reserve. I'd say $500 is a little too high.
