  1. What have you all broken, bruised or hurt while ridin' ?

  2. Thankfully none in 35yrs.
I have broken the skin in a fall (but that's par for the course) 🙂

  3. Happy to say I've never broken anything!!!!

...... Had a crash this morning though :'( Dam that little reflector thing. LOL

  4. broken both legs, arms, collarbone, wrist, 3 ribs, fractured cheekbone/ eyesocket in one crash. i think thats it.

  5. Not yet! Thank God!

  6. In a single accident:

Compound fractures of Femur, Fibula, Tibia, Radius, Ulna, Humerus. Broken collarbone, severed subclavian artery and brachial plexus. Oh, and contracted gas gangrene. Spoilt my whole summer.

Mind you, the two months on Pethedine were a wow...

  7. Nothing more than a few good cases of road dash...

it's on the 1st page in the cycling equipment forum.

  11. Haven't broken my funny bone. (Yet....)

  12. No bones yet but I've picked gravel out of my knees with tweezers several times....it's easier to do this when you're roaring drunk.....heh

  13. I've had a broken jaw (and some smashed teeth) and lost my pinky finger on my left hand.

    cheers

    I bet that hurt!

  15. Dislocated left shoulder, it wasn’t broken but hurts like hell

  16. Plenty of grazes, bruising and some lumps but nothing broken yet!! Yes the pain of getting gravel out of grazes is somewhat unbearable and they always scar too :-(

I've had the car door job done to me, the turn left in front of the cyclist and the nearly reversed into as well! joys of being a cyclist then hey! I wish they would LOOK where they are going and LOOk before they open the car door! esp on narrow roads!

Broken toes, sprained ankle from hell and fractured thighbone doing horse riding though!

  17. Broken wrist, but technically I wasn't riding, more like uncontrolled flying, until I met the road
    does that still count 😄

  18. Separated and broken collar bone .. whimpy to these other horror stories!

  19. No broken bones but I did rupture two lumbar disc and dislocate my spine. My hips were two inches to the right of where they should have been.
4.5 weeks in hospital in traction plus surgery to decompress the discs.

Gotta aggree with Timdanaher though - the time on Pethadine was ALMOST worth it!

  20. Eric the red .. did you file a flight plan?
