What bike do you drive?

The question should be which bike do I drive?

1) Bianchi via Nirone for road races
2) Nishiki road bike in the fall
3) A heavy MTB in the winter, it has a steel frame
4) An Argon 18 TT bike, once spring comes around I'll ride that during TT's

Specialized stumpjumper on pleasant traffic dodging toepath route when it is.

`06 Specialized Allez Triple...red's the fastest.

I've got three that I ride (I drive my car):

1) Rivendell Atlantis - geared touring/"road" bike
2) Rivendell Quickbeam - single-speed "road" bike that I commute on
3) Strong Custom - custom, geared mountain bike that I do most of my offroading on

Both of the Rivs are fully capable of light off-roading, dirt roads, etc., which is why I put "road" in quotes. Both are lugged steel. The Strong MTB is TIG welded steel.

I guess once in a while I "drive" my bike somewhere...by strapping it to the rear trunk rack on my car. But usually I just ride my bike.

This one.....except the seat is now a Toupe, and having recovered enough from a couple of surgeries, the stem's been flipped the other way.

Yup, they are. I'm not hip to decals. Love the wheels, though. I wanted CF tubulars that were tough enough for everyday use, and the Stratus DV's fit the bill perfectly. Potholes, rutted gravel/dirt roads, curb hopping....nothin' seems to get them out of shape. Laterally, they're acceptably stiff and don't rub brakes or feel unsure in corners on fast mountain descents. The hubs perform just fine (they're Taiwanese knock-offs of White Industry LTA's), but I'm plannin' on switching to White Industry H1 hubs when I find some extra deneros laying around.

Man, they look fantastic! ...and you got the tubie version ( what 1215 grs ?! ). I agree re stickers really take away from the look- that's what turns me off from the zipps. Speakin of dinero: tax time a comin! Hopefully spouse won't mind me spending on these bad boys.
Can't post pic, as still building up a Jamis Xenith PRO I got thru ebay...had gotten FSA cranks and ceramic bb, but became disgusted with bad reviews from seemingly every site, so sold them. Working on sweet deal with campy record 😄 .

Mine weighed in at 1246g without the decals. They were a gift to myself. I always seem to know what sort of present I'd like most from myself. 😄
