It chucked it down this morning in my bit of Norfolk, and I
was mightily teed off, as I wanted to get out on the bike
after spending all day yesterday gardening. It cleared up a
little while ago, so I got the bike out and pootled a while.
The lanes were full of puddles and the smell of fresh, clean
wet earth is *lovely*. Several other cyclists about -
exchanged greetings with them. Exchanged 'baaaas' with the
lambs in the fields and had a throughly enjoyable evening
cycle ride, as the sun sank lower in the sky.

No rain at all up here all weekend, all three days of it.

The last time I was out and about, I went through a ford on
the trike for the first time - it was a bit of a shock! 8-O

However, in the best spirit of adventure, I went back and
did it twice more, laughing manically & sending great plumes
of water up! I felt about ten years old - good thing there
was nobody else around...

In the ten days since then, I've had three days off, and
there've been just three days of rain here. No prizes for
guessing the % correlation between the two. :-(

I go cycling in the wet in shopping centers bdeocos its dry
in there and quite warm, and if peple shout at me i can get
away cos im bloody fast fast on my bike. you have to push
the bike in up the sters from the car park, or a scurty man
stops you, but once yor in they cant catch you and you can
see haw close you can get to old ladys and shout BOO from
behind and its briliant. if you try reel hard you can bike
down the moving sters and watch the old peple run away cos
yor flyng wen you get to the bottm. i think it shud be in
the olimpic

I thught the whole family would have been donning bib shorts
and racing the crits at Bungay
