  1. I'm looking to hook up with any of you Colorado Western
    Slopers between
    7/9-16.

MattB is trying to find a day but if anybody else is
    interested let me know.

    Craig? JD?

I'm not a great technical rider but consider myself a
    strong rider.

I'll be in the Ridgway area but not opposed to driving for a
    few hours.

About all I know in that immediate area (Ridgeway) is pretty
technical. If Matt can ride the 9th or 10th, you can
probabaly count me in. Does triple digit vertical exposure
    trip you out?

    JD

Trips me out only if I'm going down ! I prefer not to become
a Miles Jr...... I climb ok but don't do step type
(technical) climbing worth a damn. Unfortunately Matt will
be visiting with his inlaws on the 9th/10th but we're still
talking about a midweek afternoon ride somewhere. The
following weekend is still up in the air for me as I've been
told the family and I are camping near Silverton with our
Colorado neighbors. (see me pack the Subaru for a weeks stay
    plus all our camping [censored].....ughh)

Yeah, I might be able to make the time, just keep me
    in the loop.

Plenty of stuff around that area, lots of long high altitude
climbs. I'll go look at my book.

I found an extra day in there and don't work the 7th-10th
and afternoons are best for a night dweller such as myself.

I'm driving up on the 9th from Phoenix and won't get to my
place until 4pm. I'm tenatively setting up an afternoon ride
with Matt on the 12th (Monday) near CB or Gunnison depending
on where Matt wants to ride.

If it works better for you I can head your way for a ride
near GJ on Saturday (10th). I'm also free the following
weekend as our camping trip is in August. I'll even buy the
    after ride beer.

You can email me directly at
[email hidden] and of course, take out
    the nospam.

    Craig-

I'm riding with Matt up in Gunnison on Monday the 10th at 5
p.m. Seems he blew out the rear shock on his FS so he'll be
on his SS. See my response to JD, it has my real email addy.

I'm interested in hearing about any trails you might know of
in the Ridgway area, too. I plan on being on the bike
everyday if my wife gives me the ok.

I'm ok to drive to Durango as well the following weekend
(17/18) as the family likes to visit Durango or if we can
convince Matt and JD to ride somewhere that weekend I'm
still offering to buy the after ride beer. (bribery is such
    a dirty thing)

I'm meeting Matt at his place at 5:00 p.m. We can discuss
the Tuesday plans then or if you would prefer earlier
planning let me know. I'm flexible with any plans. I've made
myself a commitment to ride as much as possible since I was
    so lazy last trip up.
