Wendy's sucks

Do you know of any fast food chains that WILL serve you on your bike?

I never knew that was a firm policy. I've done it before. In
fact, years ago as a smart alleck teenager, I did a walk-through
at a McDonald's drive through and had no problem. Anyway, you're
better off. Fast food is [censored]. Albiet, tasty [censored]!

Recall my fatwa on Tim Horton's? Wendy's owns Timmy's. I assume it's a
broader policy. Though Wendy's is preparing to spin-off Tim's in an IPO
early next year. I was considering buying into TH but now I'm facing a moral
dilemma over it.

Our local Wendy's is one of very few to have a bike rack and good coffee.

Despite the recent thread about their official policy, I did get served
at the local Tim Horton's drive-through recently without any trouble
beyond having to ride up and knock on the window because I wasn't heavy
enough to set off their sensor. (Normally I stop there while I'm walking
to work, and therefore have no reason to try to use the drive-through.)

Not really "fast food", but they do serve food as well and it's pretty
fast.

Places I have used the drive through while cycling:
My bank
Walgreens drug stores
Wendy's
McDonald's
Burger King
Culvers
Places that at one time or another have refused me service in the drive
through because I was on a bike:
All of the above except my bank.

The moral is twofold. First, that what an employee says is not
automatically "company policy" and second, banks want your business
more than fast food places want to sell you a burger and fries or
drugstores want to sell you aspirin.

the lunch rush.

We used to have a restaurant in the theatre area here
(Rueben's, on Granville St, Vancouver) and one of the
waitresses would always bring me what she thought I
needed, instead of what I ordered. She was usually
wrong. Farmer's salad (blecch) is no substitute for
a corned beef on rye.
