  1. Hello All,

This is my first post, but I thought I would let you know my little secret. No, I didn't use any of
the Atkins diet or only eat cabbage for a week diet. I used common sense! I went online and bought
a diabetic (and weight loss) cookbook called 'Meals For Good Health' written by Karen Graham, who
is a registered dietician. The book had a month of healthy, calorie equivalent meals. All I had to
do was make one of the breakfasts, lunches and suppers, add some snacks and exercise and I had a
healthy, balanced life style. I have felt great ever since and never looked better. The book has
become my bible, and is really, I think, the only healthy choice when one wants to lose weight and
    live healthy.

    Just my two cents anyways.

    Thanks for listening!

    Carl Durand

PS. I believe the book can be bought online at www.mealsforgoodhealth.com.

You must think we're really stupid or something! Of course you don't "believe" the book can be
bought there. You KNOW it can! I also know that I've yet to see a diabetic cookbook that was
worthwhile. Most have too many carbs in the recipes. And I'm not a low carber!

the Atkins diet or only eat cabbage for a week diet. I used common sense! I went online and created
a site to make my fortune selling to all those desperate people out there who haven't the willpower
to lose weight but do have excess cash to help me pay my mortgage. Even better, some of these
people are diabetic and have to lose weight to be healthy, so they are really desperate. So please
    send me your money now.

    Thanks for being credulous!

Those other people are so unfair, accusing you of being a spammer! I know you are going to post all
those terrific recipes and ideas on alt.food.diabetic just to prove them wrong aren't you!

    Well, aren't you?

    Really?

    Cheers, Alan, T2, Australia.

Today I watched a lot of TV. Saw a lot of cooking shows mixed with diet advertising. Sign of the
times. Sell them high priced food and an expensive diet. Get the fools coming and going.
