No I'm not talking about postal anthrax or the drug du jour, but real honest-to-Bob snow. Here. In November. I'm amazed.
Once again my ride timing was perfect--I started when it was cold enough to be crunchy and a bit slick, and finished up just when it had warmed up enough to get wet & mushy. Only saw two joggers on the way up, no other bikers until I was almost back to the car. (One of whom wasn't wearing a helmet...idiot!)
Back home, I'm all wrapped up in fuzzy clothes with a big mug of Hot Banana. There isn't a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Dave.
yes that's TMI. We got it here, too: a real artic blast. The summer tires are still on one of the cars and we got to pull my son and that car out of a ditch yesterday am... he was on the way home after a sleep over. He's a little shaken but OK... there were about 6 cars off the road on that stretch so it wasn't just him. I spent the afternoon on a quilting project, and now I think it may be time to tear down the bike. I've been waiting for the kind of weather that I won't ride in ( sheet ice everywhere) to do that project.

Shouldn't you leave it in your wife's bedside table drawer?
Which one?

You wouldn't want these wives, Mr. Jones. I've heard the stories Sorni tells...
