  1. Just got back from a fortnight of heaven in Cornwall, no on-line time 8-), no mobile coverage 8-)
and no bike 8-(.... (I know, I know...heaven / no bike?!!?, illogical captain - yet somehow possible
;-). Looking forward to tomorrows bike ride though and ready for training upto Snowdon raid in
October ;-). Caught about an hour of TV over the 2 weeks and wondering if anyone caught the show
Monkey Dust, week before last. Seen several episodes but believe week before lasts introduced 'The
    Cyclists...zzmmmm.' ? Anyone ?? Dave.

Yeah I saw it. Found it pretty amusing to start with but felt it went a bit too far. Not about to
write to the ITC though :-)

Know what you mean ;-) Pretty dark show all round really. I think we got off pretty lightly
considering the way they treated divorced fathers, wrongly imprisoned "murderers", etcetc.....was
suprised to see cyclists being dealt with at all thinking about it. Can only assume one of the shows
writers must have been [censored] with a cyclists actions sometime previously ;-) Cheers, Dave.

I watched that episode this afternoon. The Cyclists sketches were very funny at times, though they
generally went downhill from the "tarmac paid for by billions of pounds of your road tax" bit. I
*did* enjoy watching them ride over a dog and then saying "don't worry, he will biodegrade".

My wife commented that someone on the show had obviously had a bad experience with cyclists
recently. My thought was that it could only have been written by a Londoner.

I think that was the last in the series (I haven't got any later ones in my pile of unwatched tapes,
anyway). They could hardly carry on without Mr Hoppy (although I suppose there could be some mileage
    in his rather gruesome replacement).

Yup I saw it too. It got a bit tedious after a minute or two. I,m all for having a laugh and not
taking myself too seriously but the guy who wtote that obviously had a thing about cyclists, if
    there are such a thing.

But I bet if the writer needs a script delivered *quickly* - perhaps pitching for a commission for
their next project they wouldn't be too bothered if a cycle courier "bent the traffic rules" a
bit... Ditto with the tapes of rushes probably used to edit this show...
