  1. Topic: water & soda pop

On a recent visit to the grocery store, I noticed at the entrance way - on
one side there were stacks of bottled spring water and on the other side,
there were stacks of soda pop.

But no stacks of bottled cow's milk. Interesting.

refrigeration. You didn't see ice cream stacked next to the door either
    right?

Now there you go, introducing rationality and the laws of physics,
biological issues and marketing all at once. How cruel to so taunt a
    sincere, if ill-informed, crusader...

Try not to do that in the future. It disturbs their harangues and
diatribes. Not to mention their rants.

You mean no stacks of bottled sour cow's milk.

Milk requires refrigeration. Try looking in the grocer's refrigerator.

That cow's milk requires refrigeration was the real reason why I
finally decided to give up drinking cow's milk.

I have a friend who gave up drinking cow's milk in his early 20s
because of the bother of the cold storage requirement for cow's milk.

    What?!

You endlessly pontificate on the dreadful effects of cow's milk on
one's health without giving an iota of evidence apart from your own
experience, and then tell us you really gave it up is BECAUSE YOU DON'T
    HAVE A FRIDGE?!

If you want a laugh, you should try PeterB on misc.health.alternative.

btw, I do have a fridge. But I initially gave up drinking cow's
milk during a bad snowy week when I ran out of cow's milk. Only
sometime later do I spot the book: "Milk: The Deadly Poison" in a bookstore.
That book pointed out that the heavy, thick casein protein contained within
cow's milk acts like a de facto liquid glue in the human body. And I
noticed several years later, I did NOT get strep throats anymore. I do
not get common colds anymore. I do not have lung congestion anymore.

I do not feel silly since I now function in "wellness" mode after
giving up the drinking of cow's milk. No more strep throats. No more
lung congestion. No more common colds.

Pretty good, right? By eliminating one food group item (dairy &
cow's milk products), I have solved three health conditions (or three
    "diseases"😉 in my life.

At least PeterB exhibits great knowledge about the effects of pharm
    drugs.

No. Please note a fridge does not have unlimited space to store
a bulky and heavy food item like cow's milk.

Make up your mind, George. You've been telling us all along you gave
up milk because of the strep, now it's because you ran out, and then
it was because milk has to be refrigerated. Now you're also telling
us you gave it up because of the [censored] information about "heavy,
thick casein protein," (a complete fabrication) and "liquid glue."

George, have you ever seen Elmer's glue? That's a casein glue. Do
you notice that while it's in the bottle, it's just a liquid? It
doesn't even stick to the bottle.

Please re-read my comments above several times.

I had already given up drinking cow's milk during a bad snowy week
caused me to run out of cow's milk. I did NOT learn about the true
nature of cow's milk until after I had already stopped drinking cow's milk.
Only later did I learn about the book: "Milk: The Deadly Poison" which told
about the heavy, thick casein protein connection acting like a defacto
    "liquid glue."
And only later again did I realize I do NOT get strep throats anymore.

btw, it is NOT a complete fabrication since the book: "Milk: The
Deadly Poison" makes the comments itself.

Perhaps humans could drink cow's milk without a problem if their
insides were actually made of plastic, like the Elmer's Glue bottle.

Then why did you give up drinking milk just because you ran out for a

congestion and common colds had stopped, George?

Yawn. I gave up sex on Tuesday nights and my ingrown toenail healed, my
cactus plant flowered and I won $50 in the lottery quick pick. My
conclusion, similar to yours, sex on Tuesdays is bad and I have given it
up. Anyone that has nookie on Tuesdays is in deep [censored].

If in fact eliminating dairy helped you then by all means, stay away
from it. OTOH, when you site the "glue, etc. " crapola as the rationale
you might as well blame the position of the planets or sex on Tuesdays.
I would more suspect that your "fridge" was not cold enough and you were
too slow on the uptake to know you were drinking rancid milk. In your
case psychosomatic is a better fit. Roswell is looking for voulunteers.

Elmer's doesn't become adhesive till it dries, George. And liquids
inside your body stay liquid, so they don't become glues either. I'd
like to say I'm surprised you have so much trouble with this concept,
