Cycling home yesterday evening I got stuck behind a really fat guy with really small short. It was ghastly, worse than any builder or plumber.
Overweight people should be out and cycling, but if you are on the chunky side, please make sure the shorts are covering all of your [censored].

I am looking forward to the day when I am only chunky, but that is specifically why I chose to buy bibs... 😄

My buddy had a pair with a transparent spot about the size of an orange over the upper center part of his shorts. When I was behind him I could see his crack coming in and out of view through this little "window".

Very simple remedy, get fast enough to pass him. lol.

At least it gave you something to aim so to hold your line. Lines on the road and crack lines!

It's all a carefully designed plan to never get asked to get up front and take a pull.

Phili is nice. i have some friends from there. This is funny a guy who had a pair of shorts washed a hundred times. Yeah its time to hang those up for a new pair. I don't know about giving up cycling because of that, but I know what you mean.

It does not bother me at all. I would rather focus on my own ride and experience. Things like that are expected and there are some that are more than repulsive but we can not do much about them.

The story reminds me of that picture of that rather fat women riding with her small child in a kiddie seat behind her, with her parents but right in her face. The look the child is giving is priceless. It's a look as if to say "help me from this nightmare!"

Ew how did he not notice? He couldn't realize that was happening? I'd imagine that wouldn't be very comfortable. You should have said something.

I agree, we need to carefully check what we're wearing beforehand. Especially if we're going to be around other members of the public in order to avoid embarrassment and any possible offense.
