  1. ...weeping like a big blubbering baby when Tyler Hamilton won today's stage of the TdF? You know
    you're a full-blown bike dork when you're all bump-throated and bleary over a guy's ability to ride
a bicycle well. /s *sniff* GO TYLER! *sniff*

Scott, you big fscker, you ruined the results of today's stage. :-(

I was waiting to go home and watch it...now I won't bother...I'll just go riding instead... :-)

Perhaps, but it was a pretty good ride. Maybe he'll win in the next couple of years. The tour has
been pretty good this year, day before yesterday was my favorite though. Lance finally did something
    interesting.

The hot question for the next two days is, can Bjarne Riis come up with a plan to gain Tyler another
minute or two? Tyler has an outside shot at third, as possibly the third-best time trial rider in
    the bunch.

Impressive? Yes. Inspiring? Definitely. Tear-jerking? Umm...

Actually, it was a bit emotional, seeing how clearly giddy he was after suffering alone for so long

Interestingly, I've never felt teary-eyed at the end of a bike race, no matter how dramatic. Yet
I'll sob like a little girl at lots of tear-jerky moments in sports, especially in the Olympics.
