in this matter? Several have said they haven't been notified--USAC, France,
Italy, Australia. Of the top ten in the Tour, that leaves Menchov and
Kloden as the likely candidates, although it is disturbing that there has
been no statement from Landis or Phonak.

Ullrich and Basso couldn't race and didn't test positive ?

sport have already blamed the French.In fact after Landis won on Sunday
they were already wondering aloud "wonder if them French are gonna
claim he was on dope?"

Actually, the french medias are surprinsgly quiet about this.No name have
been given yet. If if it was Armstrong, they would be all over him right
now, but they seem to like Landis (if it's really him)

It had nothing to do with any team.

UCI said that the cyclist's federation had been contacted. USAC denied
having been contacted. As did Italy, France, Belgium, Spain, Australia,
Germany, Austria. Among the big name riders, that left Luxembourg (Schleck),
Russia (Menchov), Netherlands (Boogerd), and Danmark (Rasmussen ).
