    Try zippo fluid. It works for dissolving the glue on bumper
    stickers etc.

    I would just run them for a few miles with rim brakes; that
    should remove those problem stickers.

    Use them with rim brakes.

    Seriously, if you're doing actual offroad riding, they'll
    come off all by themselves.

    Another point, if you're moving they can't be seen.
    Ride more.
