  2. Yeah I agree. I am so sick and tired of athletes - runners, football &
baseball players & others (not too many tennis players go figure) - dragging
'god' or 'jesus' into their games and into our living rooms. As if the
mythical he/she cares. So god is 'for' the winner and 'against' the loser? What
[censored]. It is annoying and shows a lack of class, if nothing else. I applaud you
    - Olympic medal winner - for your athletic prowess. Not for your imagined
hotline to jesus and public display of piety. Get a church.

it's how you play the game that matters. charm and elegance, skill and grace.

A knowing knod toward the comedy of errors, and acknowledgement of real pain
    and suffering in this life.

or as Michelangelo or Leonardo say, Sprezaturra!

  6. I think it's really wonderful that an athlete like Wariner is not afraid to
acknowledge and be grateful to that source from which all his formidable
athletic blessings flow. When I consider the power that allows me (and all of
us) to "live and move and have our being", I'm incredibly surprised that more
people aren't so demonstrative in expressing that gratefulness. Bravo,
Wariner--keep being thankful that you were able to do your best with what you
    were given!

    Best regards,
    Dan

No--you'll be dead someday, but God will be fine. And in the meantime, God will
    let you live!

Ah, a total lack of humility...or perspective. King of Denial, anyone?!

Very cheesy--on a par with Velveeta.

I am not dead. I am still here. Mind your language, you %$$#$!! moron.

From today onwards, I hereby decree, by virtue of the powers vested in
    me by me,
that every post shall contain the words: "this post under God."

So you are with the terrorists. So you are a terrorist.

    An electric butt plug?

His secret is a bare wire on the plug that gives him 6 volt shocks every 5
seconds. If you don't think 6 volts in the [censored] will make you run faster, try
    it.
