I also left. I doubt if any kind of troll would have scared
him off. He was also on diving group, maybe still is.

Dating someone who shares your interest, particularly
triathlon, is certainly convenient. But don't let it go to
far. Families, I find, are highly over-rated, expensive and
interfere with training. My girlfriend and I train
together, and separately, when necessity dictates. The main
reason we are still together is that we sign up for races
months in advance, and it would be awkward to break up
prior to an event you have both trained for. Meanwhile,
another event comes along and you sign up for that. It is a
nasty trap, my friend.
