  1. Hi everyone,
Some of you may remember me from a few months back. I've had serious spine
surgery and have been in recovery but I'm now ready to take on the weight
    again.
I was doing well until I went into the hospital for the surgery. I was on
fluids for the first few days and then they started feeding me things like
cereal, toast and juice for breakfast. The other meals were equally carb
heavy. It really threw me into a colossal binge and I've not had the resolve
to fight it until now. I'm just stopping all the pain meds and able walk a
lot more so the time is ripe to deal with what seems to be an addiction for
me. I never realized it until I saw the effect very high carb food had on
    me.
I'll be reading this NG and learning from you all once again. I got so much
positive support last time that I know this NG is part of the key to success
for me. It's good to see so many people that I recognize still around and
    making this work.
    Bless you all.

    Bear

  2. Welcome back Bear. I am still here and hope you do well on your recovery
    and weight loss.

    Enjoy,
    Curt

    Hi everyone,
Some of you may remember me from a few months back. I've had serious
    spine
surgery and have been in recovery but I'm now ready to take on the weight
    again.
I was doing well until I went into the hospital for the surgery. I was on
fluids for the first few days and then they started feeding me things
    like
cereal, toast and juice for breakfast. The other meals were equally carb
heavy. It really threw me into a colossal binge and I've not had the

    resolve

to fight it until now. I'm just stopping all the pain meds and able walk
    a
lot more so the time is ripe to deal with what seems to be an addiction

I'll be reading this NG and learning from you all once again. I got so

    making this work.
    Bless you all.

  20. JJ!! Congratulations on reaching your goal. You look amazing and are such an
inspiration to everyone. Glad you're still here to help slackers like me get
    on track.

    Cheers,

Welcome back Bear. Sorry to hear about the need for surgery but it sounds
like you made it through it and are recovering.

Best of luck getting back on the weight loss wagon.
