I thought it might be his rain jacket. With the crosswinds and chaos,
support might have been at a minimum.

dunno. Maybe he was planning to ride back to the start afterwards?
It may be upgraded to ProTour status, but it's still a semi-classic,
and still on a weekday.

Trying to stay warm? De Jongh was about the only rider I saw without arm
warmers on yesterday.
I'm pretty sure it's his jacket. I saw a lot of other riders with similar
upper back humps. And no, they weren't camelbaks.
