I'm sure that a while back there was a figure
being bandied around that 20 minutes brisk walking
per day was enough to keep you fit.
I now read that 10,000 paces per day is what is needed.
I wondered how much 10,000 paces was and so I counted the
number of steps from my house to my work. Well, I lost
count a few times but I guess it was 2,400 and it took almost
24 minutes. The maths is simple, I walk 100 paces per
minute.
Sooooo.... 10,000 paces will take 100 minutes. That's five
times the old estimate. There really can't be many people
who walk for 100 minutes per (working) day. Are there?
