The sky is falling, They shortened the Vuelta by 1000 kilometers!

Yes, they did change their minds as is now confirmed by their
September program listings. It is that sort of confirmation that I was
seeking. Prior to that there was nothing but one single posting in an
online forum which was contrary to their earlier website description
of cycling coverage for 2004. I'm not inclined to believe everything I
hear and I was certainly hoping that the forum message was untrue. It
wouldn't be unheard of for someone from OLN (the network that brought
us the "Cutters"😉 to make an error like that. The fact that its
content was repeated about a thousand times by others didn't add
anything to the credibility of the original message.
