to do the protein shake 4-5 times a day and not much else.
I wouldn't recommend relying on _just_ the shakes. Eat some food
every once in a while, or you really will go crazy.
Also, you need the fiber.
Quoted message said:Should I take a multivitamin to supplement this.
Sure. And some fish oil wouldn't hurt either.
Quoted message said:How do people keep the protein count high and the calories low on a regular
basis without going crazy.
Periodic refeeds help.

Use your imagination.
Enormous salads with some seafood/poultry/egg added and some banana
peppers, tomatoes, basil, etc. Use a small amount of really good
tasting salad dressing and stretch it with some lemon juice or
vinegar.
Shred some chicken breast on a plate (or use the canned stuff). Put a
little low fat cheddar on top and nuke it. Add jalapenos and some low
fat/fat free sour cream and some green or red sauce. Kinda like a
quesadilla.

Low fat or fat free cottage cheese, skim milk, eggs/egg whites, fish.
Mix the cottage with some splenda and cinnamon when you want something
sweet.
And don't forget about sugar free Jello. Not for protein, but for
sanity.
