  1. Does anyone have any excellent resources for the connection between vitamin C and the adrenal gland?
Most of what I see on the web is from health stores and would like a bit more bonefide medical input
as the latter is just trying to sell their vitamins. Does anyone know of a form of vitamin C that
will be less likely to cause stomach or esophagheal upset (I have heartburn and chronic gastritis
that flares with regular Vitamin C.). Thanks for any help.

I'll comment on the easy part, the heartburn and gastritis issue. I'd try an ascorbate of magnesium,
calcium, or sodium. If you are really sensitive (as you apparenly are) I'd keep the dose per meal of
to around 300 milligrams. I sometimes note a little extra flatulence with as little as 500 mgs per
meal and with 800 mgs per meal the effect can be very marked. My comment is based on my own personal
use so take it for what it is worth.

    No you didn't noyes!!!

Having chronic heartburn and gastritis is not normal!

You are an enabler noyes! Yeah, ... Sure, Right! Answer the guy's question so that he can continue
to kill himself. Typical science geek a-hole mentality!!!

Just my opinion. But, I am *right* as usual!

Margo...the greatest connection that VIT "C" has to the HUMAN BODY

    Quoted message said:

is that it IS the MOST essential...yet least noted vitamin going as it

IS the MASTER "catalyser" for ALL ESSENTIAL vitamins AND Minerals. WIthout "C" "E" cannot work...and
without BOTH, Minerals cannot be absorbed. A little extra B6 helps as well. The "B" Vitamins, in
general, are autonomous and take care of the Endocrine system. I do NOT know of ANY practicing
ALLOPATH that can even understand this much less tell his patients same. Of course IF he
DID...he'd be out of BIZ?? Hoy-veh..vot a voild ve LIFF in!! YAH???

As for your stomach being Queezy about Vitamin "C"...I would suggest you use a "buffered" Vit
"C" such as a 500 mg "CHEWABLE" with Acerola Cherry. Drink it with milk (NON HOMOGENIZED) if you
can find it...or use BUTTER-milk which will SOOTH ANY upset tummy! ( especially if one has
"drank" GREEN BEER,,, ask me how I know,,,UGH what an horrible experience that was when I was
    17. ( 1949)

There is ALWAYS an answer..it's just that we have to find it!! As for the ADRENAL gland...It
requires CARE where FOODS are concerned . SMOKING can REALLY screw with it as well. It is very
close to the Adrenal cortex and any kind of INSULT chemically can set it off on a wild spasm.
TUMORS are quite common with smokers in that brain vicinity. STUNTING MANY important functions
is NOT what is recommeneded for good health. If I were a female..the "PILL" is the last thing I
would consider as it REALLY has some BAD "long term" effects. JUST use condoms no matter what
and be sure they are NEW!! The "PILL" has been the source of so MANY really bad things..My wife
just died from a condition brought about by it. She insisted on using it however and PAID the
price at age 68. 5 or 6 yrs of HORRIBLE MISERY as well.! ( July 23 last year) Even the VA could
NOT help her as she was a veteran! B-0b1

Take Vit-C WITH vit E followed by B complex ( extra B6 up to 500 milligrams) NEVER take "C"
ALONE! Do the Multi thing the easy way...use SOLGAR-75 with an extra 500 mg C. Drink with
Butter-milk! ( or Yogurt?? ) Three a day instead of this ONE-A-Day foolishness. ALWAYS have
FOOD IN your stomach first. Take VIT's AFTER you eat..NOT before! B-0b1

Don't you think she knows that?? It is a fair bet she has been in and out of the gastroenterologist
office numerous times. If she hasn't gone to the Doc, whose fault is that? It would be hers!!

Gohde you are either a burden or a stumbling block.

As opposed to not answering? She is not more or less likely to "kill himself" by my answering.

You don't have a right to an opinion. It has been too long since you have contributed in a
    meaningful manner.
