  1. Watching Vinokourov have relatively free reign in this Tour was a good
    bit of entertainment for the fans and a nice pad to his impressive
    palmares resume.

    That guys attacks then attacks some more. He doesn't know how to give
    up. No way was he going to win the ultimate stage in Paris yet he held
    of the sprinters almost single-handedly. He held off Team Gerolsteiner
    all on his own easily getting the 6-second bonus over Levi moving him
    to within 100 milliseconds of 5th place at the time. Then he steals
    Stage 21 out from under McEwen's nose.
    BRAVO. One of the best final stages in years.

    The sponsor who lands Vino for 2006 is going to get some serious TV and
    press time.
