Happy for him, but it's almost insulting that they(dsc) weren't
worried about it. You know your ass is way back when they don't try to
reel you in any harder than that.

Yeah, yesterday's finish eliminated his ability to attack and and get a
response from the disco boys. Which gets Vino a stage victory but
prevents him from attacking effectively in support of Ullrich. Of
course, A) Vino didn't seem too interested in supporting Ullrich anyway
and, B) Grodefroot sounds as though he's given up any GC hopes (in disgust).

I'm glad to see him bounce back and ride aggressively. He's fun to
watch. I think he's only got to win 4 more stages like that to get back
    into this thing!

Can we call that a bonus for signing with DCS next year?

I don't know if you noticed it, but DISCO was hauling ass in the last
    40Ks to reel Vino in.

Unless you've perused the route extremely closely, which I haven't, the
number is more like 10 (how many are left?). He'll look for every chance
to chip away at LANCE and whoever else is in front of him. That's why we
    like him.

La-de-dah-de-dah. I think I'll sneak a peak at rbr. Hope nobody
posted the stage results in the subject line.
Owie! Owie! Owie! Owie! Owie! Owie! They did again!
