Vetta wireless computers

I used one for awhile (not cadence though), but the sensor alignment was
too finicky, and as big as the sensor/transmitter is, it easily gets knocked
around. Even just normal vibrations and bumps would get it out of alignment.
The zip ties just don't seem to be able to hold it in place -- maybe some
adhesive would help.

I had a V100HR with wireless cadence and speed.

Thing was far more robust than the Polar 720 I have now. You could place the
sensors on the back chainstay and still get readings with accuracy. If they
had the ability to download data I would still be using it.

Look at the new Cateye double wireless. The transmitter for both the cadence
and speed are in one unit mounted on the chainstay...neat idea.

Been using the V100 for two years now on a 54 cm frame. Except for a
defective unit that failed within 1 month (and quickly replaced by the
shop), it has worked fine. Just put fresh batteries in at the start of the
season. Never had any wireless interference that caused the unit to not
work. Went on a 50 mile ride the other day - it exactly turned 25 miles at
the end of the outward leg of the trip and likewise turned 50 just as I
returned. My only issues are: 1) I wish it displayed distance to 1/100 of
a mile rather than 1/10 (not a big deal, just a minor desire), and 2) if I
manually stop the unit it seems to not want to consistantly restart unless
the bike is not moving when pushing the start/stop button.

Any idea where I can get a chest belt for my Vetta? I e-mailed the
company but never got a response.

I purchased an RT88 and had to return it due to the extreme sensitivity to
electrical interference.

My Polar S-710 never exhibited such problems. However, the Polar was $300
and the Vetta $45.
