Bought an as-feckin'-new Wilderness Trail Bikes (little bit of mud splashed on it, but nuthin' else) WTB SSTX saddle outa the bargain bin for $AU 10 at Brunswick Street Cycles.
Loooong and narrow. Dropped saddle snoot - *perfect* for a) thigh-grippin'-on-the-chair gravel and loose dirt, b) tip-of-the-saddle on the aero bars. (me - commuter: Mongoose 18' MTB, Cinelli 40cm drops, Campag road 8/3 brake/shifters, mixed Sachs/Shimano/no-name-Taiwanese 44/22/20 10-19)

Ditto, that other rather good LBS down at Richmond Station. Strong Light 1"1/8' Headset, $50, superb gold finish, matches the "Holden Sandlewood" spraypaint job on the SS. 'Tis a thing of beauty. Any other bargain bin trophies out there?

Gotta agree there. Brunswick Street Cycles has provided me with damned excellent service for years. And they happen to be half way between home and work, so location is another plus.
