still an aspiring cartoonist myself -- every time I see an editorial cartoon from Pat Oliphant, a
"Frazz" strip by Jef Mallett or a "Calvin and Hobbes" piece from Bill Watterson, I'm reminded of
just how far I have to go before I finally make it.

Wow, two of your top three are in my top three. I've been a huge Oliphant fan since I was a college
student in the 70s. And I have a bathroom wall with framed favorites from Calvin and Hobbes. It was
a very sad day when
Mr. Watterson decided to end that strip. I'm not familiar with Jef Mallett or Frazz. I live in a
very small town. The local paper runs a few of the old standards and that's about it.

I always enjoy your cartoons, too. And as I've already indicated, I can relate.
