Veloce crankset

BB. Can I install a 2000 Veloce 53/39 crankset (double ring)
and have it fit correctly, and have everything work?

If you have a 111mm BB, yes, even the front der. If you have
a 115.5mm BB(used for triples AND oversized seat tubes),
then ideally you should get a 111mm BB.

Yes just bolt on your crank and ride. (Lubricate and torque
your new chainring bolts, the tapers, the crank bolts an
your pedal threads, all to recommended values)
