VDO wireless computer... doesn't work in the cold?

There is a cylinder on the bottom... upper right of the
receiver/display unit when viewing from the bottom.

That's the revised version. You don't have the "buggy batch" problem.

I suspect battery performance at low temperatures. No evidence, but its
where I'd start looking.
